i am very interested n this piece Terry. How much of the process of making it was by conscious intent and how much by ‘accident’?
Thanks Andy. For this series of drawings/collages i begin with having all the elements of which they are made (odd bits of newsprint, paper, card, coloured paper, tape, etc.) laid out in front of me and they progress slowly. It’s an adventure, however, i do also have a few thumb nail sketches to which i refer to occasionally.
I love this series. This one in particular because of the great balance of the whole photograph, the size of the bright tape especially the yellow balance the rest of the colors perfectly.
correction, the two red pieces have the same importance as the rest of the whole picture.
